She joked about fans commenting on how she had him hidden in a cupboard. The couple highlighted the taboo of marrying an older woman in our society. They noted how there tends to be a significant uproar if the woman is even a couple of hours older than the man. Bushra Ansari and her husband also revealed how they first met while working on a drama serial.
Bushra Ansari shared that for the longest time, roughly a year and a half, she was apprehensive about the usual societal judgment – not from her family or friends, who were actually super supportive, but from others. She found friendship and mental compatibility in her husband.
“If such situations arise and you have options, specifically for women who have been left alone in life due to separation, widowhood, or divorce, and if they have choices and are not hurting anybody, then go for it. Many children encourage their fathers to remarry, citing their loneliness, but often do not accept their mothers in the same situation. After all, she is human too, and this is a matter of wisdom. People tend to decide that after a certain age, individuals do not have the right to remarry.”

Mehwish Hayat, the star in a recent interview shed light on her views on marriage. while she joked “Leonardo DiCaprio — if you are watching and ready to make an offer, I’m listening!” she also shared what would prompt her to marry…”For me, marriage is a very big responsibility.” If I find someone who adds value to my life and supports my career and dreams, then I can think about it. Someone who can understand the importance of my work. Although that’s hard to find in Pakistan. But if I find someone like that I might take the plunge. The track I am on right now, though, I know either my work will suffer or my marriage.”
“I also think he should be financially stable. He should earn more than I do. Although I am very independent and I get whatever I want for myself. Thank God, I am capable enough. So, more than financially, I think I need someone who can support me mentally and emotionally.”
