It’s safe to say that superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan are rare in this current day and age. With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, SRK – dubbed ‘King Khan’ by his adoring fans, has survived the challenges that come with stardom and has remained true to his essence amidst the shifting cadences of Bollywood. To the masses, he represents hope and humility and that’s one of the reasons why he still reigns supreme.

After making his debut in Bollywood with the 1992 film ‘Deewana’, Shah Rukh Khan became a household name in India. With back-to-back hits in the past thirty years, it’s fitting to say he brings it his all to the screen and with no genre of film left untapped, SRK has done it all!
FUCHSIA Celebrates Shah Rukh Khan With A Custom Playlist
At FUCHSIA we’re all massive SRK fans! It was only a matter of time before we made a Spotify playlist to celebrate our favourite Bollywood celebrity! Starting with the 90’s – Chaiyya Chaiyya and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai were two back-to-back hits that graced our speakers and screens in 1998. There wasn’t a wedding you’d go to, that wouldn’t have Chaiyya Chaiyya playing in the background!

However, it was in the 2000s when Shah Rukh Khan dominated the spotlight and subsequently dominated Bollywood. With Aankhein Khuli in 2000, Suraj Hua Maddham in 2001, Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003 and Tumse Milke Dilka Jo Haal in 2004, SRK became synonymous with romantic Bollywood songs. With the feel-good song Yun Hi Chala Chal in 2004, SRK proved that his fame wasn’t fleeting. It was here to stay. Next came Mitwa in 2006, Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai in 2008 and one of our favourite collaborations, Chammak Challo in 2011!
