The Characters Are On Point!
The Chaudhry Khandaan is just full of muzzay kay characters… from a Vet doctor to baree bahoo ka bhai who lives with them, everyone is clearly characterized. The banter between them gives you laugh-out-loud moments & just the post-Iftar light-hearted beak you need.
Billu Chaudhry is so fun to watch as we witness Imran Ashraf in a completely different role from his recent ones. He is not your typical stylish, sophisticated hero yet, a heart-winner with his raw and genuine vibe.
Ayeza Khan yet again proves she can transition into any character with ease & ensures that her audiences are with her on that journey. We appreciate that she has tried to give Pari a different look with her curly hair, body language, and wardrobe. The best part is that Pari is not an exaggerated character in most of the scenes. Ayeza Khan is keeping it subtle and letting dadi do more of the OTT scenes.
Kudos To The Writer
A note of appreciation for Saima Chaudhry for introducing Pari’s Dadi played by Irsa Ghazal and Dada Dildaar Ali, played by veteran actor Sohail Ahmed. Realistically speaking, usually, such characters do not have much in them to hold the audience’s attention, but both Dada and Dadi are so well written, directed, and performed that every time they are on screen, they make you laugh.
Dadi is so so refreshing. She is witty, educated, keeps Pari seedhi but at the same time, loves her to bits! Dada jee is hilarious with his non-stop commentary and the way he is scared of his eldest son, Billu’s father played by Noor-ul-Hasaan sahib.
