Leave it to Coke Studio to make every song magical, are we right or are we right? Coke Studio has come out with its own rendition of 1970’s band Queen’s iconic song ‘A Kind Of Magic’ & we can’t stop grooving to it!
The rendition features Kana Yaari fame Eva B and renowned Pakistani brand Karakoram. It has been produced by the maestro Zulfikar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi) who also gave us an unforgettable season of Coke Studio this year and Sherry Khattak.
Apart from the soulful rendition, the music video also has eye-catching frames and a beautiful set (which has been a common theme in this year’s season). Director Kamal Khan has done a laudable job capturing everything.
Several international artists including Ari Lennox, Griff, Tesher, Mariah Angeliq, Tems, TRI.BE and Ekin Beril have come out with their respective version of A Kind Of Magic to kickstart the launch of Coke Studio Global.
About The Song
A Kind Of Magic was released in 1986 and was written by Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor. The song was made for the film Highlander. It was widely loved and was number three on the UK Singles Chart and top ten in many European countries. (Wikipedia)
