Coke Studio Season 15 releases its ninth song, “Turri Jandi”, a spellbinding exploration of inter-dimensional travel and the yearning for connection. This release coincides with World Music Day 2024.

Curated by Xulfi (Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan), “Turri Jandi” transports listeners on an odyssey, bringing together the legendary vocals of Shazia Manzoor and contemporary music star Hasan Raheem to weave a narrative of parallel realities.
Shazia Manzoor takes on the role of a genius inventor, inviting Hasan Raheem to experiment with her groundbreaking invention – a machine that unlocks the secrets of the multiverse. Stepping into this contraption, Hasan embarks on a whirlwind tour through alternate dimensions, encountering different realities, including a futuristic Mughal court reimagined with tech, chrome, and glass.
Coke Studio Veteran Director Kamal Khan, Production Designer Tanya Mirza and Director of Photography Ahsan Raza translate Xulfi’s vision into a visual spectacle. The music video shares Hasan’s journey, accentuated by dance from Egil Mikael of Norwegian dance troupe Quick Style.

“Turri Jandi” blends Shazia Manzoor’s soulful, folk vocals, with Hasan Raheem’s signature blend of R&B, hip-hop, and indie pop. This unexpected fusion brings together genres and generations. Shazia Manzoor, a household name in Pakistan, has captivated audiences for decades with her soulful voice steeped in Punjabi folk music and Sufi poetry. A longtime champion of Pakistani music, she has also performed with the prestigious BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and continues to lend her voice to charitable causes.
Born in Gilgit, Pakistan, Hasan Raheem’s musical journey is one of passion and determination. His unique blend of R&B, hip-hop and indie pop, laced with soul, has garnered him a loyal following. Despite studying medicine, it has been his passion for music that has led him to compose some of this generations most viral hits, while still in school.
