NADRA has introduced its Biker Service in Karachi, offering doorstep CNIC renewal and modification services for enhanced convenience. This is all you need to know.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched an innovative Biker Service in Karachi, allowing citizens to access essential NADRA services from the comfort of their homes. This initiative aims to streamline service delivery and eliminate the need for long queues and office visits, making it easier for citizens to manage their documents efficiently.
Services Available
The NADRA Biker Service provides key facilities, including the renewal of CNICs and modifications or corrections to existing identity cards. This means that citizens can update or renew their details without visiting a NADRA office. However, the service does not cover the issuance of new CNICs, for which applicants are still required to visit NADRA offices in person.
How to Avail the Service
To use the Biker Service, citizens need to call the NADRA helpline at 7000 or 111-786-100. During the call, they will provide their address and specify the type of service they require. A NADRA representative will then schedule a visit at a convenient time. The service operates during regular working hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
What to Expect
Once the appointment is confirmed, a NADRA representative will arrive at the applicant’s home on a motorcycle equipped with the necessary tools and equipment. The representative will process the request on-site, and after completion, the updated documents will be delivered directly to the applicant’s address.
This doorstep delivery system eliminates the need for follow-up visits and ensures a seamless experience for users.
Cost and Payment Details
The service comes with an additional fee of Rs. 1,000, which includes Rs. 825 for the Biker Service and Rs. 175 for the delivery of documents. Applicants are required to pay this amount in addition to the regular fee for their requested service. Payments can be made in cash or via card during the visit.
Expansion Plans
Currently, the Biker Service is available in Karachi, with plans to expand to other cities, including Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas. NADRA has already allocated three motorcycles for Karachi, with one bike each planned for the upcoming cities. As demand grows, additional bikes will be added to the fleet to ensure smooth service delivery.
This initiative highlights NADRA’s commitment to enhancing public convenience and modernizing service delivery. By bringing essential services to citizens’ doorsteps, the authority is addressing the challenges of overcrowded offices and long wait times.
With its focus on accessibility and innovation, the NADRA Biker Service is set to revolutionize the way Pakistanis interact with public service systems, beginning with Karachi and expanding to other regions soon.
