Netflix’s most-awaited Pakistani series Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo might be dropping in June—Farhat Ishtiaq just dropped a major hint!

It’s been months since the announcement dropped, and ever since then, fans have been practically counting down the days. Pakistan’s first-ever Netflix original—yes, that one—is on everyone’s radar. But here’s where things get interesting…
Eagle-eyed fans recently spotted a juicy little comment under a YouTube video by none other than Farhat Ishtiaq, the mastermind behind the bestselling novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo. And what did she suggest? That the most anticipated adaptation of the year might be landing in June.

We repeat: June.
Of course, this isn’t an official confirmation—yet. The makers are staying tight-lipped, and the official Netflix channels haven’t spilled the beans either. But when a clue comes straight from the author herself, it’s kind of hard to ignore.
For the uninitiated (first of all, where have you been?), JBHSSL is a deeply emotional, soul-searching journey that revolves around Sikandar, a brilliant yet broken Harvard law student with a haunting past, and Liza, a bold, free-spirited Italian artist with emotional wounds of her own. Their paths cross in Italy, and what follows is a story of healing, hope, and the slow, painful art of putting yourself back together.
Now imagine that story brought to life with a cast that reads like a dream team of Pakistani TV and film:
Ahad Raza Mir takes on the role of Sikandar (yes, we screamed too), with Iqra Aziz stepping in as Liza. And that’s just the start—Sanam Saeed, Fawad Khan Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Hania Aamir, Bilal Ashraf, and Khushhal Khan are all part of the lineup. We don’t know what to call this—an ensemble? A fever dream? A reward for surviving all those filler dramas?
So, while we all wait for that long-awaited official release date (Netflix, we’re looking at you), let’s just say this: clear your calendars for June. Just in case.

Ahad Raza Mir is playing the character of Sikander and we’ll see Iqra Aziz as Liza in JBHSSL.
This plot is sounding a lot like Meem Se Mohabbat which Ahad did great playing the troubled past character. Just hoping the two shows have a different feeling from each other
Mahira ko lead hona chaiye tha. Abhi bhi wo cast ki sab se khabsoorat ladki hai
