ASP Shehrbano Naqvi, the police officer’s wedding looks have taken over social media by storm! But wait, who did she marry? Find out here.

Did you all catch a glimpse of the bedazzled gem on ASP Shehrbano Naqvi’s hand before her big day? Truth be told, we missed it too. This past weekend, the ASP got married in a vibrant, grand desi wedding in Lahore.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Syeda Sheharbano Naqvi, who recently captured nation’s attention for her heroic intervention in rescuing a woman from a mob in Lahore in February of this year, has tied the knot. The police officer gained prominence and received much applause for her bravery and heroic acts in saving a woman accused of blasphemy from a mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market, remaining in the headlines for her courage.
Social media was abuzz with pictures and clips from the ASP’s wedding, as well-wishers flooded Instagram with wishes and congratulations for her new chapter in life.
Guess who the lucky guy is? The one marrying the bravest girl? He is Ashtar Naqvi, a Lahore-based hotelier. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology University (NY), he is the man behind the Royal Swiss Hotel Lahore. Shehrbano’s spouse, Syed Ashtar Naqvi, hails from a notable family that owns the Shah Group of Companies and the Royal Swiss Hotel.
While we eagerly await to learn more about him, here are some pictures from the most talked-about wedding of the month.
Shehrbano’s Extravagant, Yellow Mohsin Naveed Ranjha Look
Shahrabano wore a mustard yellow, heavily embellished designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha’s (MNR) yellow-colored sharara on her mehndi. The outfit’s main highlight was the gota and mirror work.
Quintessential Red For Her Baraat Wearing Nimrah Khokhar
For her baraat, she wore a bespoke red lehenga and a long kameez by Nimrah Khokhar, a designer based in Lahore. Paired with a slicked bun and heavy gold, ruby jewellery. Her makeup look consisted of bronze glittery eyes and a deep red/pink lip!
Her Bedazzled Golden Cream Valima Look!
For her Valima on Sunday, she chose a warm golden, cream outfit, heavily adorned with embellishments, embroidery and mirror work with a hint of pastel shades. Her diamond jewellery was minimally sublime with a warm, nude lip and bright golden sparkle eyes.
In February, a Punjab police team led by ASP Shehrbano, serving as the sub-divisional police officer at Gulbarg, Lahore, rescued a woman who found herself surrounded by an angered mob, suspected of blasphemy due to her dress—a printed shirt featuring Arabic words.
The woman was encircled and subjected to harassment by an enraged crowd that sought to punish her for what they believed to be “holy verses” on her clothing. However, it was later discovered that the outfit hailed from a well-known Arabic clothing brand, and the text printed on the garment actually spelled out “Halwa” in Arabic, meaning “sweet.”
