Why is Momin not clarifying to Maya that those words were not meant for her? Why is Maya not calling him or messaging him again & talking about it? This part of Dil-e-Momin needed to be handled better.
The entire misunderstanding seems too scripted, leading towards a contrived disaster & thus, losing the naturalness of the events that the drama has been supporting so far. However, we are happy that there is no saazish involved till now.
“Thaka haara araha hoon abhi , fresh ho k namaz parh lunga”. The drama keeps reflecting subtly, (without being preachy), the thought process & reality of so many of us.
Momin saying he was sent to get ice cream, to actually give roti to a bhooka… we wonder if this shows a vain side to him?

Coming To The Parents
When her mom told her about the divorce, we wish Maya had hugged her or atleast stayed with her for some time. Maya seems to have issues with physical proximity & sharing emotions.
Ashi’s father Jameel sahib – what a character! Hats off to his bitterness that he is able to find something wrong in each & everything. Shabbir Jaan is doing a brilliant job as Jameel.
