Saad and Maheer are finally drawing closer …
Our Desperate Need For Some Onscreen Romance
So we ask, (yet again) why couldn’t we get more romantic scenes between the two? Yahan itnee kanjoosi sey, tersa tersa ker humain kiyon kuch scenes diyay ja rehay hain. And even those scenes are so boring and lack any romance or excitement. Hum audience ka kiya qasoor hai?
Maheer Speaks
Finally Maheer admits Saad’s importance in her life and wins back Neelo’s respect. Sadly, Areeb can’t get over his bitterness and has turned his love into toxic obsession.
Neelo Back On Track
It took an entire kidnapping scene and a traumatic experience for Neelo to understand what Maheer must be gong through – How is a girl blamed for an event just by virtue of being a woman even though it might be no fault of hers? This is what has been happening with Maheer all along. But we are glad too see the positive Neelo back.
Areeb’s Devious Plans?
Did Areeb really mean it when he asked Faha to marry him? Or is it another one of his evil plans? Faha jee, we wanna ask you, why do you want to marry someone as crazy as Areeb, especially after seeing how he behaved in front of the police officer?
Positive Police Representation Might Help Change The Narrative
The police officer’s behavior with Saad… A realistic representation of the police force or unnecessarily toxic behavior? Should our dramas sometimes portray positivity in the Police force and give hope and positive examples, especially avoid derogatory dialogues through police officers’ remarks about women?
The End?
And finally, it is hard for writers to know when a story is done, for an artist to know when his painting is finished or, just that the last few dialogues or strokes are all it needs. Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha might need to call it a wrap. Audiences are still watching, only in hope of some Saad-Maheer Romance. If that’s not happening, perhaps it’s time to close the Areeb chapter too.
