Is Haider overwhelmed by guilt alone, or also a sense of rage against Amal? Will he help clear Professor Humayun’s name & testify against Amal? The suspense bears down heavy on Dunk … and us!
The latest Dunk episode kept us on the edge of our seats. As Haider and Amal are about to tie the knot, we can’t help but wonder what the future holds for them.
What will Haider do?
Post the Professor’s untimely demise, Haider’s internal turmoil is taking its toll on him. Is the guilt overwhelming him or the flashback from the overheard conversation between Professor Humayun and Amal haunting him? Delivering dialogue with clarity and feeling is a laudable talent, but to speak with your eyes alone, and give off prize expressions to match, is another level indeed, and Bilal Abbas scored a 10 in this one. The sheer sense of helplessness, remorse, regret, self-reproach, and rage came together in Haider all at once and what a rage it was. Target next will be Amal – we can bet on that one.
Also, the suspense pushed on as no one listened to what Haider had to say. Koi to sun lo, we’d like the deets too please! Guess we have to wait for episode next to satisfy our curiosity!

It remains to be seen if Haider will go far enough as to testify against Amal – he is the only one who knows the truth & by doing this, he might redress some of the wrongs he committed (unknowingly)? But, will anyone believe him and how will Amal react? That is the story that will play out in future episodes.
Is Haider even ready to marry Amal or will it be Safeer who steps in to close the Dulha gap?
Something to think upon
Can a person earn respect only after he dies? Will Saira press the inquiry committee to clear her husband’s name, if only for the sake of her daughter?
Yasra Rizvi gifted us a performance of a lifetime. The pain after reading that letter was so real, her intensity so raw, it shook us to the core – and hung heavy throughout the episode.
Going forward with Haider’s guilt
We (sort of) knew the first half of the story, but going forward, Dunk should take on more suspense as we predict what happens next.
How will Amal extricate herself from a fairly ‘messy’ situation? How will Haider act to redeem himself and what of Minahil? A loose cog in the wheel or a story about to take shape?
It’s clear that Haider has a lot of thinking to do – will he or won’t he act on his guilt and reveal what he knows? Will he risk the fallout from Amal? Dunk you are thrilling as ever, what happens next, is anybody’s guess!
