If you’re looking to brighten up your mood after indulging in too much food during the Eid holidays, here are 5 telefilms to look out for this Eid.

From laugh-out-loud comedy to emotional twists and relatable situations, Eid telefilms never fail to entertain. This year is no different, with exciting new stories and familiar festive vibes making a comeback. Let’s take a look at what’s coming our way!

1. Rishta Pakka

Fatima Amjed and Abdul Rehman Sajid, famously known as Havi, are coming together on screen for ARY’s Rishta Pakka. This marks Havi’s first appearance in a telefilm or drama, while we’ve previously seen Fatima Amjed as Madiha in Manto. The concept sounds fun and refreshing – Havi plays a “rishta karwanay wala” with the catchy Rishta Pakka slogan, while Fatima Amjed steps in as the ultimate “girls’ girl,” someone who stands up for every woman and questions long-standing traditions and norms that don’t really make sense anymore – especially the usual setup of marriage proposals, where a girl is judged after a brief meeting over high tea, only to receive a rejection soon after.

From what we can gather in the teaser, the storyline may follow a classic enemies-to-lovers trope. And honestly, it looks promising. With a strong ensemble cast and an interesting premise, this one has definitely made its way onto our watchlist for this Eid.

It is written by Younus Butt and directed by Abdullah Abid Malik. It stars Fatima Amjed, Abdul Rehman Sajid, Saqib Sumeer, Dania Enwar, and more.

2. Just Mohabbat

Sahar Hashmi and Ali Ansari are once again coming together in Green Entertainment’s Just Mohabbat. We have seen them together in last year’s Eid special Saiyyan Thanedaar, which completely dominated our feeds for quite some time. The storyline is interesting, messy, and a little confusing at the same time. Ali Ansari plays Ammar, who forgets everything after suffering a head injury. All he remembers is Roha, the love of his life. But it’s not as simple as it seems – Sahar’s character is not actually the Roha Ammar initially believes her to be. However, after his injury, he starts calling her Roha and forgets about the real one.

Meanwhile, Sahar Hashmi’s character is a bit shady; she appears to be eyeing his wealth, credit cards, and more, taking advantage of his condition. The setup looks engaging and fun, and we’re pretty sure things will eventually lead to Ammar and Saha’s character ending up together. She might go through a change of heart. But it’s the journey, twists, and light-hearted moments that we’re excited to watch and enjoy along the way.

It is written by Hassan Imam and directed by Kashif Saleem. Produced by Tehreem Chaudhary, it stars Ali Ansari, Seher Hashmi, Qaiser Khan Nizamani, Tara Mehmood, Abid Ali, Hina Aurangzeb, and more.

3. Dakaiti Mubarak

Dakaiti Mubarak, starring Yashma Gill, Ali Rehman Khan, Zoya Nasir, and Umer Aalam, appears to have a very wild and crazy feel with a little bit of an Eid-ul-Azha festivities vibe to boot. The story revolves around two people who are both equally chaotic and disorganized in their own respective ways, with one person making mistakes all of the time and the other person making everything worse. Ultimately, both characters come together to plan a heist, which will eventually result in a huge disaster and create a comedic experience all at once.

Of course, nothing goes as planned, and therein lies the fun! With its different storyline and chaotic energy, Dakaiti Mubarak promises an epic Eid special filled with plenty of confusion, laughter, and unexpected plot twists.

It is written by Mohsin Ejaz and directed by Ahmad Hassan. Produced by Goldbridge Media, it stars Yashma Gill, Ali Rehman Khan, Zoya Nasir, Umer Aalam, Khaled Anam, Shameem Hilaly, and more.

4. SAMOSA vs SALAD

Samosa vs Salad – what a name, and what a perfectly timed release. Feroz Kadri and Aiza Awan star in ARY Digital’s telefilm, dropping right on Eid-ul-Azha, when all we can think about is food. This one looks fun, quirky, and highly relatable, with little reality checks sprinkled in while still staying true to its genre—pure entertainment. Saife Hasan and Faiza Hasan play a couple who wants to eat everything, from jalebis to samosas and chicken patties (because apparently they’re “healthy” since they aren’t fried). But with such eating habits come consequences – they’re advised to lose weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle, or risk serious health issues.

Aiza Awan plays the nutritionist who hands them a diet chart, while Feroz Kadri appears as a gym instructor trying to get them on track. But are they really going to change anytime soon? It doesn’t look like it. Aadi Adeel Amjad is also part of the ensemble, and his presence alone is proof that this is going to be a fun, chaotic, and hilarious ride full of mischief and one-liners. We’re definitely keeping an eye on this one too!

It is written by Hassan Imam and directed by Hisham bin Munawwar. Produced by 3’s Entertainment, it stars Feroz Kadri, Aiza Awan, Saife Hasan, Faiza Hasan, Aadi Adeel Amjad and more.

5. London Wala Dulha

London Wala Dulha starring Usama Khan and Sahar Hashmi will be airing on HUM TV. From the title alone, its pretty clear that the show will center around marriage, proposals and the chaos that come with them. The storyline appears comical and has the typical light-hearted chaotic feel that fits well during Eid Telefilm season. It contains rishtas, misunderstandings and the traditional wedding drama but has an updated and humorous twist.

Usama Khan and Sahar Hashmi will share the lead roles together for the first time; making this drama all the more intriguing since both actors are quite young, the new pairing of these two very different actors might create an interesting dynamic that will be easy-going and comical. London Wala Dulha looks to be a straight forward nice feel-good show to watch over Eid – not heavy in nature, but rather contains a light-hearted comedic form of confusion and fun around Eid celebrations.

It is written by Nooran Makhdoom and directed by Umer Gulzari. Produced by MD Prodcutions, it stars Sahar Hashmi, Usama Khan, Tara Mehmood, Nawal Khan, and more.
