Farasat has managed to crack the code and yet again and this time his target is none other than Fida and Sanam’s relationship. With subtle yet sharp tactics, brainwashing, exploiting the fact that Sanam is not present at home, Farasat is making a beeline for storring up trouble – his forte, and things are about to get worse before they get better. Wali has also managed to convince his mother to say yes to Manahil and now it’s just Iman who’s left trying to break into Hammad’s life – that one seems a bit tough though.

While one wonders at Farasat’s crafty mind and how he drops subtle hints that makes Fida feel ignored, or abandoned by his wife, one also wonders at Fida’s ability to get influenced so easily by another man. Or is this exactly what SharPasand tells us, that people like Farasat exist among us and their presence in our lives cause more harm than we ever realize. Shazmeen is one person who is well aware of Farasat’s toxicity and warned sanam which is why, Sanam is not too happy to know Farasat is in and out of her home all day long while she’s not there, sweet talking her husband and possibly talking against her but in a manner that Fida will not quite understand till it’s too late.
Farasat has a way with words and it is interesting how he knows who to influence. Here he knows Fida will likely fall into hsi trap and hence, the work has begun. The same husband who happily sent his wife for a work assignment is now feeling neglected and ignored thanks to some prize comments by Farasat. One wonders again that Sanam has made him comfortable, hired a helper and also cooked and frozen food for Fida but apparently, that’s not enough when Farasat’s evil mind is at work.
Should Sanam have extended her trip and did she have to be so upset if Fida had guests over? The main issue we think is not that he has guests but that the one guest among them is Farasat whom she despises and mistrusts immensely. Not just that, but Fida, despite sending her away willingly, now seems a bit aloof and disturbed over the phone. Safe to say Taimur snatching the phone from Sanam while she spoke to Fida didn’t help either. But one wonders, if men like Fida who are supposedly supportive for their wives also make their wife feel guilty about an extended business trip, then when do things really become equal in the life of a couple where they are both working. Anyway, that’s a debate for another day. For now, we will probably see Farasat at his best, or worse, and things might take a turn for Fida and Sanam.
Onwards to Wali who just couldn’t convince Manahil to marry him without his mother’s wishes. But he has recorded her voice and we fear he’s going to use it at some point to exact revenge from her family. Sadly, Manahil is the ony one in the Farasat household who doesn’t need to be attacked but she’s the one who will be under fire. Wali has now convinced his mother to propose for Manahil and although we hope he eventually sees that Manahil should not be punished for her family’s wrongdoings, one also wants Farasat, Iman and Rubina to pay for their actions – hence, it’s a tough call and though we might not agree with Wali’s sentiments, we understand what’s driving him.
Onwards to Hammad whose mother Shama literally bullied Iman into knocking on Hammad’s door in the hopes that he’ll finally submit. Hammad, thankfully, is holding strong so far. This track is making us curious. How will Iman eventually pay for what she has done? SharPasand might turn very dark very soon.
Finally, Fida is planning to matchmaking and we suspect it’s Taimur and Shazmeen she has in mind. It’s good to see Shazmeen chose self respect over giving into an apology merely because she had no other choice. It’s also uplifting to see the story taking a leap in messaging that Shazmeen, a single, working woman in fact, does have options and just because she chose self respect, doesn’t mean she might never find love again. Also great to spot a ‘non’ cousin marriage in the plotline. But of course we mean Taimur and Shazmeen.
And that’s it for the major happenings in SharPasand. Drop us a comment below if you want to add something and let su know your best predictions for the next episodes.
