As the story goes on, we have a few questions for Fitoor. More importantly, can we move past the ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti’ parent trap?
Well, let’s answer this one for you. Wahaj Ali & Faysal Quraishi are pulling in the crowds, all you have to do is take a glance at the whopping 6M views on the first episode, and you know they’ve bagged the gold!
Fitoor drama from 7th. Sky Entertainment & Har Pal Geo delivers power-packed performances from some of our favorites; Faisal Quraishi, Wahaj Ali, Hiba Bukhari & Kiran Haq. It’s a treat watching them together onscreen.
With a Zanjabeel Asim Shah script (writer for Balaa, Cheekh, and recently Pyar Ke Sadqay), and a Siraj ul Haq direction, (from Raaz e Ulfat), our expectations are sky high.
Before we go on, a shout out to Wahaj Ali for a formidable performance there. The love-struck, manic hero has our hearts. Wahaj has given his best to the role so far with troubled expressions & tone matching his portrayal of the son who recoils in disbelief and horror, yet attempting to keep a sense of balance & rationality in place – 2 thumbs up for the episode!

As the love saga unfolds gradually (and dramatically), we have some questions.
Kuch sawaal
A 15 years age gap between Haider & Dilnasheen & the mom is not concerned? That sounds very strange to our ears, what about you?
Maana keh it’s okay to have the age gap in some instances, but not when your daughter is protesting against it! Right? Wrong, apparently, says the mother, as an izzat dar gharaana and wealth is enough to get you by!
Is Hamza really a bigri huwee aulad or did his parents drive him to behave in this manner? Our hero leaves the house in a fit of desperation, laapata for most of the night, knowing his near & dear ones must be worried. Are these emotional blackmailing tactics, a cry for help or merely reflection of a spoilt brat?
Having said that, Hamza’s parents refusal to entertain his desire to marry a fairly eligible young girl are to be questioned. Did they, in fact drive him to behave in this manner? Irrationality and obstinacy in parents breeds the same in children, right?
So can’t our dramas get out of this Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti trap?
Is it fair to snatch a grown up daughter’s phone in order to prevent her from speaking to a guy?

If a girl, or boy does not accept a proposal, do parents have a right to accept or reject it on their behalf?
