These courses are offered free of cost and can be accessed by students from all over the world. (There is a cost associated with obtaining the certificate, but that is optional, meaning, one can take the course free of cost and decide later if they want to pay and obtain a certificate as well)

We have selected a list of top 5 courses that we think will add to your skill-set and learning while you practice social distancing. However, you can choose any that you like from the courses list on their website.
1. Women Making History (6 weeks)

This course provides an insight on women’s movement and struggles in history; how they pushed boundaries and challenged contemporary notions of what women could and should do.
2. Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing & Public Speaking (8 weeks)

If you are someone who is looking forward to improving your writing and public speaking skills, then this online course is a must for you. It will teach you the art of persuasive writing, an editorial and a short speech. Not only will it help you understand a variety of rhetorical devices, but it will enable you to analyze literature and speeches that make writing pieces engaging and thought-provoking.
3. Religion, Conflict and Peace (8 weeks)

With so much discussion on religion world-wide, this course will help you nourish your understanding on sensitive yet crucial topics like religion and peace. It will discuss the role that religion may play in fostering violence and as a well in promoting peace around the world.
4. CS50’s Introduction to Game Development (12 weeks)

If you are looking to learn the science and technicalities behind interesting games like Flappy Bird and Super Mario, then this course on Game Development will definitely give you a hands-on practice. It will teach you basics about 2D and 3D interactive game development that includes graphics, sound, animation and much more.
5: Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice: Shylock (3 weeks)

This short course in Literature will help you identify historical contexts that illuminate Shakespeare’s artistic choices. You will explore the implications of different theatrical and performance interpretations.
