The nation is forever indebted to him for enriching the Arts, Culture and Literature. His contributions were limitless. Amjad Islam Amjad is a recipient of the Pride of Performance & Sitara e Imtiaz for his precious contributions to the Arts in Pakistan. Among his most notable dramas are Waris, Dehleez, Samandar, Raat, Waqt and Apnay Loug.
As a tribute to the massive success of drama serial Waris, the PTV can consider a rerun to honour the man behind the series and a tribute to his lasting and memorable legacy.
