It’s been quite the year, but one thing is for sure, dramas kept us entertained throughout, especially during the lockdown period.

Best OST

2020 has some heartwarming melodies but Sabaat had the magical melody which made a place for itself. Soothing, calming. It’s one of the songs which stays with you for a long time. We’ll surely be humming to this as we step into 2021
Best Child Star

We’ve seen a few child stars this year but Anas Yasin bags the award for the best child star. The young boy gave a stellar performance and made us full of emotions as Janu, in Bikhre Moti. We hope to see more of him in future!
Best actor negative role

Omair Rana came to our screens as Sarwar and we were there for it all!
Best actress negative role

Love her or hate her, you watched her! The audience truly despising Nisha meant Minal Khan played out her diabolical character really well.
Best Emerging Actor

Ameer Gilani rocked Hassan! Refreshing to see a new face and talent in the industry.

Minna Tariq was the perfect fit for Wardah! Wardah’s intensity resonated with many as she won hearts onscreen!

Srha Asgr for Pyar Ke Sadqay. Washma was just that LIT! Really looked out for sweet Mahjabeen and we’re so here for it!

This award recognizes the performance of our senior and seasoned artists. In the male category, Saleem Meraj for Sultan Shah in Alif bags this award!
Best Actress Gold

We felt bad for her, a little agitated but throughout she had our hearts! Atiqa Odho as Mansoora was perfect!
Best Dressed Male

Emmad Irfani grabs the spot for Jalan as Asfand gives off super cool vibes right to the end!
Best Dressed Female

From the moment we first saw Miraal, to the very last episode, we were left stunned by each outfit Sarah Khan wore. She really slayed thos outfits, from the formal to the casual! Can we step into her wardrobe please?
Best Script

Zanjabeel Asim Shah for Pyar Ke Sadqay … because Mahjabeen & Abdullah were pure love. It’s a play to remember!
Best Director

Saife Hasan for none other than Ehd-e-Wafa! Looking forward to more spectacular entertainment in 2021! BTW we miss the SSG’s shenanigans. What about you?
Best Actor

It’s Amaan for the win! We absolutely loved Ahad as Amaan in Ye Dil Mera. So many shades in one – and Ahad delivered a stellar performance, showing us all of them. Despite the complexities that were Amaan, we still loved him with all our hearts!
Best Actress

Humaari pyari Mahjabeen! Yumna Zaidi flawlessly slayed as Mahjabeen and made us fall in love with her instantly. She truly brightened up our screens and we miss it!
And finally…

Alif, we love everything about this outstanding play. From the casting, acting, directing to costumes, everything was on point. Sajal and Hamza were amazing in their respective roles! A play to remember: Alif!

2020 was a rollercoaster ride, but as we were mostly home, we watched some amazing dramas and witnessed some stellar performances from our favourite artists. May the new year bring us hope, health and some more of these super outstanding plays!.
