If you’re looking for the good stuff without the scroll struggle, we’ve got you. From what’s worth your screen time to what you can skip guilt-free, here’s your weekly dose of the drama world — as we picked the Top 5 Dramas of the Week with our editor, Rabia Mughni! This week was a tough call, with strong performances, engaging stories, and some surprising shifts in ranking. Here’s what made it to the list!

5. Paamal

Starring Saba Qamar, Usman Mukhtar, and Haris Waheed, Paamal has caught everyone’s attention with its beautifully executed storytelling and thought-provoking narrative. Directed by Khizr Idrees and written by Zanjabeel Asim, the drama balances old-school romance with a deeper message.
4. Biryani

Although running a little slow this week, Biryani still remains one to watch. The current phase focuses on emotional depth and separation — a necessary lull in the story’s pacing. Despite slowing down, it continues to hold its place among strong contenders.
3. Case No. 9

Once fast-paced and thrilling, Case No. 9 slowed down a bit with its recent episodes. While still strong in story and character, its earlier episodes had more excitement and intrigue. That said, it remains a “treat to watch,” with an engaging plot and consistent performances — just slightly edged out this week by the top two.
2. Jama Taqseem

What started as a slow burner has evolved into one of the strongest ongoing dramas. Jama Taqseem impresses with its layered storytelling and realistic progression. Even when scenes stretch or slow down, the conversations remain engaging and meaningful. The story feels relatable and socially relevant — from family tensions to small, shocking twists (yes, even the milk theft!).
The chemistry between Laila and Kais, and the natural pace of their evolving relationship, make Jama Taqseem a must-watch this week.
1. Jinn Ki Shaadi Unki Shaadi

Taking the top spot this week is Jinn Ki Shaadi — a perfect mix of comedy, suspense, and fantasy. The drama keeps audiences entertained with its blend of humor, romance, and supernatural elements. Rabia particularly enjoyed the evolving bond between Ali and Khushi, saying the drama “ticks many boxes — engagement, interaction, and pure entertainment.” With new twists unfolding — and Ali’s mysterious feelings towards Khushi in question — JKSUKS is clearly a favorite.
