Sarah Lalani does Fusion Fashion like no other!
How often do we see a fairytale cloak walking on the rough broken streets coupled with frayed jeans and socks or long Cinderella gown picking fruits from the markets? That’s precisely what The Connoisseurs PK (www.theconnoisseurspk.com) aka TCPK has played with us.

Together, we picked up elements from one world and fused them with the elements of another in a way that it has become a whole new normcore for us. That’s called a Fusion Fashion Next Level. In its whole nonsensical being, fusion is fun, delightful and a full experimental retreat to a sombre practical world of just-this and just-that.

While playing a fashion bluff as this, we discovered the potential of Haute Couture outside celebrity Met galas and award shows. TCPK and FUCHSIA have picked up Haute Couture from the theses of the 3 talented designers from AIFD and gave them a whole new meaning by taking them to the streets of Karachi and mixed them up with a New Yorker’s street style. Feels impractical? Wait till you drop down.

Walk of Fame

The devil is always in the details when TCPK is out on the streets savoring haute couture while running everyday errands in style. Here Sarah is wearing a blastic red one side, long overcoat (literally hand done with henna (mehendi) at the hem) over her favorite Zara blazer, cinching the waist with a belt for extra support. She opted for her sock boots ‘coz roaming on the street in boots is a new cool thing.

Why does runaway bride runaway?

Don’t know about other brides, but this girl here, in her highly tailored bustier ball gown was out and about wearing her sneaker ready to run, buying fruits and peeking in her favorite novels sneakily while the salesman was busy looking somewhere else. The classic Cuban chain around her neck speaks loudly of her ‘Kanye attitude.’ If this is not a fusion of the two worlds, we don’t know what it is.
