Ghalati is finally here. Hira Mani is back with Affan Waheed, as Zaira & Saad. With the present season giving us back-to-back hits, new dramas will really have to up their game to meet the audiences heightened expectations! BUT, this is Pakistani dramas we’re talking about, and we can do it, right? Coz we’re good at this!
Let’s hope so, as Ghalati delivers us a promising first episode! Episode 2 is about to air, and we’re here with our recap so far, so you’re in the know!
Ghalati got off to a refreshing, light-hearted start.
We are treated to light romance between Zaira & Saad that made us feel all warm inside. Tis’ wedding season anyway, and what with celebrities tying the knot (or planning to), any romance that makes our hearts go hmmm, will be well-received, by the rest of us who are NOT romantically inclined, but love a good love story, right?
Hira Mani Plays Zaira – The girl who’s head-over-heels in love!
Hira has mentioned that Zaira’s character will do anything for Saad, so much in love is she with her husband – just like Hira is with Mani. Chalo, let’s see how far this kuch bhi karna stands true. For now, love is in the air – and she’s giving us the LOVE feels too! Of course, the December shaadi season might have lots to do with it – but let’s not get all cynical, hopefully, her love will stay strong, and willing till the end!
Affan Waheed plays Saad – Typical Asian Male
You know the type? Pal mein tola, pal mein masha! That sounds like trouble, right? For now, we see a light romance unroll between the two young love birds – Zaira & Saad. How will Saad manage his temperament, or how will Zaira manage what Saad can’t seem to manage, is the question? Too confusing? I guess we have to wait and see where the plot leads us in the next few episodes.
A Fast-Paced Story Line
The first episode of Ghalati dived right into the story. No beating about the bush here. The two main characters introduced, a budding relationship, and then … a twist in the plot. Yes, the episode ends in an interesting twist. The drama is managing to keep us hooked already, because we no want to see – yes, you got it – what happens next?

Second Episode might be just as fast-paced as the first
Since the scene is set, and the twist has already appeared in Epsiode 1, we assume the action will keep us on the edge of our seats. Ghalati seems to be a story about relationships. How we manage the relationship that is closest to our hearts – and perhaps, what can go wrong with it? And what can we do if something does go wrong?
It’s great to see Hira and Affan back on screen together. Let’s find out what awaits our hero and heroine this week. Like we said, the present season has raised audience expectations – but that’s a good thing right?
