Mehreen running out to call her father added so many emotions, so much warmth & such a humane angle to the entire scene & of course, brought tears to our eyes.

While we are happy, we also wonder that when so much transpired earlier, why were we, as audiences, tortured to suffer the last two episodes? Why oh why do the best dramas, the best creators, fall prey to this sad strategy or pitfall?
The continuing sensitive performances & intelligent execution of the narrative make viewers raise the bar for dramas such HKKST, and hence, we inevitably demand the best from the best.
Also, the sequence & manner in which Aswad connected each of Shabo’s revelations with what Mashaal had told him earlier was smartly executed, and how the truth dawned upon Aswad in bite-sized chunks was admirable – it was almost as if we could envision the veil lifting from his eyes.
