Are we allowed to tell Mehreen what to do with her life? That’s the question on our minds as drama watchers scramble to tell her to leave Aswad

Finally Mehreen asks for divorce, something we all have been desperately hoping she would do or had done earlier. But with Aswad now repenting & realising his mistake, would you still want them to go separate ways ? Tell us what you think.
Notable Performances Of The Night

What a beautiful portrayal of Mehreen’s internal struggle between wanting to live & die. And people who go through a trauma/tragedy do struggle like that. She managed to resist the suicidal thoughts but when she loses hope again, the thoughts come back in the form of Mashal & push her, nearly to the edge.
Well done Mahira Khan, for delivering a truly heart-winning performance.

Oh Aswad what do we say to you… we wish you had not let things slide to the point of no return, & left a door open for Mehreen to return to you. Do you feel sorry for Aswad for the guilt he will have to live with now? A shout out for Usman Mukhtar – he made us dislike Aswad intensely, and then maybe feel a bit for him.

Kaif Ghaznavi as Shabo was aptly knocking upon the conscience of mamoo & maami. She was, perhaps, the game changer.
HKKST Unfolds The Mystery Behind Mashal’s Death

The mystery of the cups is finally solved. No one really killed Mashal … can we call it Karma? When you wish ill for others, sometimes it comes back to you?
Appreciation for the writer & director for making us all feel & realise the innocence of Mehreen, the ziyadati she faced in a poignant way, highlighted by the regret & loss that Aswad now feels – a beautifully crafted execution.
Whether Mehreen & Aswad part ways or not, it is clear they both need some time apart to deal with the emotional damage of the past few days.
They might come to an independent conclusion once they are emotion more balanced, but are we, the audience, ready to accept their decisions? Tell us what you think
HKKST has us counting days till the next episode. Until then, catch up on our Drama Gup right here:
