How can Wafa just believe what her father told her about Asad? Doesn’t she know Asad well enough? Why is the family still not panicking more about what happened to Asad despite knowing he never made it to the airport?

The only thing great in the recent episode of Hum Dono was the performances by the entire cast.
Script Fails to Deliver
Having the reputation of good scripts can sometimes lead to mere disappointments if the script fails to live up to audience’s or critics’ expectations. But Hum Dono as a script is seriously making everyone ask: how can this be a Bee Gul script?
Not just that, but some scenes are weakly executed, and some seem really silly… unfortunately, the drama takes the path of toxic scheming and lies offering nothing new to audiences.
Asad was surprised when the kidnappers take Wafa’s father’s name. Which surprised us as to how can he not suspect this, why would somebody kidnap him, not demand anything and constantly tease him about his job, passport and his girlfriend?
Why is Asad quiet? Why hasn’t he said anything or asked anything yet?
Great performance by Azaan Sami Khan though.
Wafa’s Strange Reaction
Wafa totally believing her father, and not trying to ask Asad a single question is the biggest mystery that boggles our mind. If you love someone this much, if you are so close to someone, you would know this person better than just assuming things about them. You would at least call the person once and ask the person to explain their actions? But nothing like that, Wafa just accepts what is told to her. Asad never said anything disrespectful about her father in front of her and maintained that he needed to stand on his own to be able to ask for her hand in marriage. So how can he leave her all of a sudden and misbehave with her father…?
