How Do You Balance Feelings After Your Parents Separated?
“It is very difficult but at the same time its very easy. Yeh relationship hi aisa hai, maa baap ko izzat deni hai, unki muhabbat deni hai, unko respect deni hai chahye unki apaas mein na banrahi ho. Mein ami ko kaafi dafa bolti hoon kay agar ami ka kuch horaha hota hai ya baba ka kuch horaha hota hai tou I was like that’s your problem. Why we are close to baba is because she pushed us”
Momal shared that you have to respect your parents even if they are not on good terms themselves. She also shared how her mother pushed her to be close to her paternal side of the family.
The Hard Times In Momal’s Life
“There were times and days where we didn’t even have 100 rupees kay hum doodh or anday lesakay or bread, yeh teen cheezein takay aik nashta hojaye ya aik khana hojaye. There were days, months and years we were stepped out of our classroom and baad mein pata chalta that kay humney school fees nahi pay ki hui. So zinidgai mein buhat kuch buhat jaldi dekhlia or us cheez nay humein buhat strong banadia. Ami nay kabhi bhi humein ronay nahi dia , mein ya shehzad kabhi bhi us depression mein nahi gaye. There was nobody to help usout even though a lot of them could have”
She spoke about how they financially struggled but in spite of that, her mother never let her cry which made her stronger.
