Be it Imran Ashraf in Raqs e Bismil or Azekah Daniel in Dunk – We’re smitten with these 8 acts this week!

1. Imran Ashraf
Imran Ashraf as Moosa in Raqs e Bismil. Both times, when he met his father at the Mazaar, and when he encountered Zohra. We felt for the shocked, a bit pareshaan & then sorrowful Moosa. Imran Ashraf is mirroring the Moosa’s journey with great intensity like the sharply talented player he is, and we’re loving it!

2. Saleem Meraj
Saleem Meraj as Sikander in Pehli Si Mohabbat. We loved how he delivered the loaded dialogues & expressions to depict the anger & bitterness Sikander harbours for Akram. The intensity, the bitterness, the controlled rage were all there for a full on impactful performance!

3. Azekah Daniel
Azekah Daniel as Minaal in Dunk
Azekah jee – Zabardast. There were many scenes where you had minimum dialogues, but it was your expressions, & body language jis ney tabahi mucha dee. Waiting to see Minal take the lead in coming episodes and take on Amal! Btw great chemistry there with Bilal Abbas Khan – an onscreen couple in the making!

Still from ep 14 via ARY Digital
4. Wahaj Ali
Wahaj Ali in Ishq Jalebi
We are loving Basim as Wahaj portrays a young guy who wants to follow his own dreams and escape from the family business, but he never makes us feel it’s exaggerated or over the top. The laidback stance, the nok jhok with Madiha Imam’s character. the dream to make it big – we’re already falling in love with this lovable charcter

5. Navid Shehzad
Naveed Shehzaad as Aunty jee… Love the way she adds shades of grey to her character. She is the villain but at some points, we can’t help but feel for her.

6. Maya Ali
Maya Ali in Pehli Si Mohabbat
Rakshi kiya roi hai, hum bhi saath ro peray… what a heart-wrenching performance she gave. We feel for you, in your stifled cries, your weeping and your deep anxiety!

7. Shahood Alvi
Shahood Alvi in Dunk as a disappointed, angry, scared & insulted father is impressing us in every episode. A shout out to his rage (portrayed stunningly) on point sarcasm and expressions just bring it home for us!

8. HSY
HSY as Akram in PSM
The controlled posture, trying to avoid a jhagra, but giving up in the end, HSY made the entire scene appear so raw & real, so energetic & fully action-packed. Akram, your look says it all, and understandable, Aslam is fearful of the wrath unleashed from the depths of your character – well done there!
