Each week, Ishq E Laa wows us. Are we really over Shanaya’s death, probably no, but the story has us engaged to the core. Azka and Azlaan’s different lives and challenges have us on the edge and we’re loving it! We’re also loving the drama’s unique take on life, relationships, human nature and spirituality.

Without any further ado, here’s this week’s review!
A Ray Of Hope

“Bus Allah sey dosti puki rukhain aur uș dosti per naaz bhi kerain. Woh kabhi aapko tanha aur mayoos nahin choray ga…hamesha purumeed rehain.”
What a beautiful reminder & so uplifting to see Ishq-e-Laa giving us hope through Azka.
Azlaan’s Road To Revenge

Azlaan’s journey continues. We appreciate that, unlike the previous episode, this episode depicted Azlaan’s journey, moving from a state of tragic sadness to a quest for revenge & taking action. And also, thankfully, his transition did not occur overnight, he took us along on his journey.
Kanwal Setting An Example

How uplifting to see Kanwal’s positivity. A round of applause to the creators, especially writer Qaisra Hayat for showing a positive bhaabi, defying the stereotypical, toxic ones we spot in 99% of the dramas on air.
Kanwal’s mohabbat & sachi neeyat makes the entire drama so much more likeable & positive.
We’re Rooting For You Azka!

Azka’s life long dream is becoming a reality. How nice to give hope to people – trust & belief in Allah is the right way to go. The best part of the narrative was that it also mapped Kanwal’s initiatives to make it happen, thus giving us a clear message, that in addition to dua, we try our best & then leave the rest to Allah.
Who paid Azka’s college fees? Was it Azlaan? Or was it Shanaya who paid it before she was murdered & her mother is aware of it?
Ishq E Laa Giving Us Food For Thought
Ishq-e-Laa is also sending out subtle messages to us, the viewers, that supporting someone like Azka can help change lives & livelihoods for entire families – something to think about till the next episode.
