Disjointed scenes but with cute, romantic moments, plus some politically relevant and thought-provoking sequences is how one can define last night’s episode. You have to give credit to the writer/director for trying to wake up the conscience of the nation in pre-election phase through its favourite drama.
Shibra In Love!
The tables have turned. It used to be Fazal Baksh teasing Shibra, but now it is Shibra teasing Fazal Baksh and at times, even making him jealous.
The sofa scene between Fazal Baksh and Shibra was not only entertaining to watch but also became a total heart winner with Fazal Baksh becoming teary-eyed after listening to Shibra’s confession. That one small gesture added so much more warmth and poetry to the whole scene, making us like and feel for Fazal Baksh even more. Bilal Abbas Khan gave a fabulous performance here.
We love Sukhi and Shahmeer’s team, always giving us uplifting moments. She never lets him lose hope, always telling him not to worry, and that something will work out.
Disjointed Scenes
Though we absolutely love and appreciate the effort by the team for creating awareness about the idea of why we must vote carefully, making people think about their actions and the fate of Pakistan in a non-preachy way, however, the scenes appeared disjointed and randomly placed together. It made no sense why Shahmeer was suddenly on a boat. And that first scene with the fake Fazal Baksh getting his beard trimmed by the actual Fazal Baksh in the middle of nowhere was equally mind boggling.
The whole episode lacked flow and suffered from continuity issues as well.
Fazal Baksh’s Endearing Ways
Pat Thai… well after Italian paratha we are loving this new dish by Fazal Baksh.
Shibra thought he was joking or that he was out of his mind when Fazal Baksh tells her, he is the next prime minister of the country. Little does she know that it is actually Shahmeer Sikander that she is talking to.
Mehreen’s Plan?
Too bad Mehreen saw Shahmeer with Shibra. Will this lead to the much sought after revelation about Fazal Baksh’s true identity?
Mehreen wants him so desperately that she doesn’t want her father to find out about Shibra and wants to sort this out on her own so as to make sure she can still marry Shahmeer, no matter what. Has Faraz really told her the truth about Shahmeer and Shibra ?
