Jannat Se Aagay Latest Episode Review, An entertaining and thought-provoking watch!
For the rest of the world, Jannat might be a cold-hearted person but with Tabassum we see a softer and genuine side to her. Is Farooq a supportive, kind and patient life partner or does he need to develop a bit more self-respect?
The Farooq’s Amidst Us!
As we see Farooq first wandering along the seaside calling out Tabassum, Tabassum, and then later, shedding a tear over Tabassum’s harsh behaviour, we find ourselves thinking, “He needs to stop being so rondoo,” but then the very next moment, we question that while we want men to be sensitive and kind, are we ready to accept the other qualities that might come with them? Jannat Se Aagayfor sure, through Farooq’s character, makes us question as to what extent we are responsible for creating harsh and insensitive male role models for because we judge and often ridicule men like Farooq?
Will Tabassum Follow In Jannat’s Footsteps?
Tabassum and Farooq’s relationship is cute at times, but at times, Tabassum’s selfish behaviour tests our patience. The way Farooq gives in to her is mostly endearing. She is aware of her power over him, but is she going to commit the same mistake as Jannat? Taking true love for granted?
An Engaging Watch
Watching Tabassum settle in her new job and taking on Jannat’s clothes, bags etc is such an interesting and fun watch. It didn’t bore us for even a moment. The drama must be admired for giving us attention to detail without losing viewers in the bargain. It was a surprise to see that Jannat had kept all of Tabassum’s letters, something we had not expected. It is incredible how Jannat fails to understand her part in all that has transpired between Noman and herself. But can we blame her fully? After all, she shoulders the entire household financial responsibility as well. And to make a mark as a woman in any industry, often, one has to work twice as hard as a man.
Jannat & Noman’s Relationship Dilemmas
No matter how sharp a woman becomes in matters of public life, no matter how smart or ambitious she is, she is often easily deluded about her husband’s extramarital affair. If it was not for Andaleeb giving her a wakeup call, Jannat might have continued doubting her suspicions about Noman. We wish Jannat’s mother would try to guide her daughter a bit before it gets too late. No one is denying that Jannat’s behaviour with Noman was wrong, (from the little we have seen), but Jannat Se Aagay also makes one think about the male ego. Could Noman have tried to reach out to Jannat, talked with her, involved the family and supported her in her ambition?
The Complex World Of Social Media
Last but not the least, the drama also highlights and makes one think about the impact of oversharing and revealing too much of one’s personal life to the public. Is this leading to a damaging impact on the mental health of society which we are not able to observe completely at this moment? Seeing others possess so much more than us and flaunting it – is this creating complexes and unreal ambitions to fulfil desires at any cost? This message is for anyone who has the power to influence mindsets.
