Jannat Ali Khan’s unhappy family life comes across not as a shock but rather as a sadly expected twist. Tabassum not calling back Farooq or even mentioning the presents, made Farooq as well as us, quite sad.
Jannat’s Backstory
Well, we were all waiting to know the backstory of Jannat. Is her life really as perfect as it seemed? What is it that is not being told? Can we say as a collective humanity, we have become so dejected that we cannot accept that anyone can have it all…, there has to be a catch? Well, there it was, Jannat’s relationship with her husband and children.
Now we await to see how Jannat reached here. Through her own ambition or thanks to a husband who couldn’t take her success. But why don’t the children care about her either? It was surprising to see, Jannat’s mother mildly aware of her situation. Despite Jannat having a very abrupt & fiercely competitive attitude, we somehow still feel for her at this point. Is she in denial to think her husband is not involved with anyone or has she accepted that too?
Execution To Detail!
Appreciate Jannat Se Aagay for showing details as to how Jannat notes the overflowing garbage in the kitchen, how the maid is irresponsible with the children…and then, this sequence of events possibly leading to Tabassum being hired in Jannat’s household.
Farooq & Tabassum – Wholesome Relationship Goals
Farooq has our heart. His genuine care for Tabassum is such a winner. It was the cutest and saddest moment at the same time to watch him waiting for Tabassum’s call… We loved the simplicity and honesty of Tabassum and Farooq’s relationship which took a dip in the recent episode as Tabassum’s emotions seems to be influenced by Jannat’s lifestyle the gifts her husband gave her. We wished the script had retained that honesty. But Tabassum redeems herself a bit by explaining that she only wanted Farooq to get her to meet Jannat.
