According to sources, Jemima Goldsmith got married to Irish-Australian businessman and investor Cameron O’Reilly, thus marrying for the second time after 22 years of divorcing the former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The wedding reportedly took place in a private ceremony over the weekend, with news of the marriage emerging through members of Jemima’s family rather than from the bride herself.
Jemima’s sister-in-law, Jemima Jones, who is married to her brother Ben Goldsmith, shared a photograph on Instagram from what appeared to be the wedding celebrations. “Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date, what a happy day!” she wrote. The post did not feature the newlyweds themselves, keeping with reports that the couple have wanted to keep their relationship away from the public eye. Jemima’s brother Ben has also been reported to have confirmed the marriage.
Who Is Cameron O’Reilly?
Cameron O’Reilly, 62, is an Irish and Australian businessman and investor born into a prestigious media family. His father is Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the Irish media mogul and international rugby player. Born in Dublin, Cameron graduated from Oxford University and started working for Goldman Sachs. Later, he was associated with his family’s media company, Independent News & Media, and joined APN News & Media, an Australian company.
After this, O’Reilly turned to investments and established Bayard Capital, an investment company specialized in sectors such as energy and water infrastructure. One of his most successful businesses included Landis+Gyr, which is a Swiss manufacturer of electricity meters. In 2011, the company was bought by Japanese company Toshiba for an estimated value of $2.3 billion. The official website of Bayard Capital mentions that O’Reilly is the chairman of the company, which he himself has established, and used to work for Goldman Sachs in the past.
Though he has a very public family and professional history, apparently O’Reilly leads a fairly secluded personal life. He has four kids from his previous relationship with Ilse O’Reilly. Apparently the two separated in 2022 after being together for about two decades.
How Did Jemima And Cameron Meet?
Jemima and Cameron’s relationship reportedly began through their shared connection to the film and documentary world. Reports that first surfaced in May said the pair had known each other as friends before their relationship became romantic, having first met through work.
At the time, a source described O’Reilly as a very private person and said Jemima was keen to protect their relationship from unnecessary public attention. The couple had reportedly been together for around a year when news of their engagement emerged.
They were reportedly spending their time between Switzerland and London, with claims that they were living together. They got engaged in May 2026, but they did not officially make any announcement regarding their engagement.
For now, the couple appear to be choosing to celebrate the occasion privately, with their family offering the first glimpse into the wedding rather than Jemima making a public announcement herself.
