Jhok Sarkar – DSP Arsalan is about to descend on the residents of Jhok Sial and we can’t wait for him to set things (and people) in order!

Great message
It was good to see a civil & mature conversation between Lubna & Arsalan where both people were visibly hurt but kept their self-respect & dignity intact and also tried to part in amicable manner – a great message for writers and audiences watching. However, it remains to be seen if Lubna’s chapter is closed forever or not.
Noori – A Force To be Reckoned With
Noori’s 3 conditions for Peeral showed us that even in adversity & when cornered, she could think practically & salvage the best out of a bad situation. She was also smart enough to know she couldn’t just escape the marriage and hence didn’t encourage Sassi in her emotional plea to annul her decision to marry Peeral.
You have our attention DSP Arsalan – good move!
Jhok Sarkar portrays a seemingly usual upright, honest character willing to fight for a cause and yet, does things differently to arouse our curiosity & earn praise. Arsalan planning a quiet entry into his area of jurisdiction was such a great move. We’d love our police force to think about this strategy for new postings.
Peeral’s Evil Genius
It was intriguing to see how Peeral operates by manipulating the women in his home to convince Noori to marry him. For a moment we thought the woman bringing Noori food was sincere in her suggestions, but she was also a pawn in Peeral’s bigger game plan. He is a thorough politician, and we have to applaud his sneaky masterplan despite the evil intentions behind it.
Zulekha and Suhgra might actually become friends as time goes by (now that they’re both in the same boat). This prediction by Peeral’s men might turn against him in future.
Meeral’s Depraved Streak
Meeral reveals his perverted, sadistic streak. He seems to carry zero scruples in any fiber of his being. Shaukat pursued by killer dogs was seriously terrifying. From the moment Meeral met him at the station till he collapsed in the sand, we still had a lingering hope he might make it.
Super Direction
Direction and edits in the chase sequence deserve special mention for upping the fear factor and also, in parallel, showing Arsalan travelling by train along the same deserted region. The scene kept us in its grip as we kept hoping for a miracle.
And now that both father & son have revealed their true nature, we have a question for you. Between Peeral & Meeral, who do you think is the more dangerous opponent?
