Can you take a pick on which Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum episode of the two aired this week was the best so far? We’re having a hard time deciding, because there was some serious storytelling going on this week!

Sharjeena’s Dialogues Say It All
“Tumne meray lowest time per mera saath diya.” “Tum Allah ki dee huwee meray liye subse baree naimat ho, kitne logon ko sachhi mohabbat milti hai, humain milli hai, humain Allah ney chuna hai, hum khaas log hain”.
What beautiful lines, and what an important message Sharjeena and Mustafa sent across to the fans who feel all the emotions along with them. We were frustrated as Sharjeena and Mustafa refused to give in over the phone call, we smiled as Mustafa walked into her house, we shed a tear and then smiled as Mustafa realised she loved him, and they made up. But that is not all, we then sprang up from the living room sofa with a cry of “yahoo!” when Sharjeena gave a piece of her mind to Rubab and then Mustafa stood up for her. Voila, some powerful story-telling and execution there.
Powerful Messages
This week the two Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum episodes gave many people in love, many couples… moments to relate with. It captured the entire process of a first fight between a couple with the utmost perfection. The director made sure that we experienced all the emotions with the couple before bringing them together. The moment we were all waiting for when they would admit their feelings to each other was just perfect. Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa deliver performances that deserve a round of applause. Mustafa’s expressions when Sharjeena admits she loves him – subtle yet so impactful, and then his realization of how he misunderstood her, were just heart winning.
The drama sends out so many great messages through the couple – how you must value who stood by you in your lowest moments, how having “ehsaas” for the other person matters the most… most importantly, those who are married and especially, to the love of their life, must realise they are so lucky. They must be thankful to Allah and not take each other for granted.
Adeel Picks Up His Game Plan!
Well, on the one hand, Sharjeena and Mustafa keep you entertained, on the other hand, Adeel is also making sure we do not get bored. Just when we thought he is stuck with Rubab, he shows us another side to him. He is not only entertaining the idea of being involved with Rubab’s friend “Natasha”, but also financially cheating on Rubab. This “friendship’ game that both Natasha and Adeel are playing is another true-to-life portrayal of how things happen in extra-marital affairs. Natasha is clever, she has understood that all she needs to do is soothe Adeel’s’ ego and self-centered nature and he will soon be dancing to her tune.
Sharjeena’s Subtle Interactions
What is interesting to note is that when Sharjeena is talking with Rubab, she lets all hell breaks loose, but the moment she addresses her mother in-law, her tone is quieter and less aggressive, yet she maintains her stance. What a great portrayal of how you must address an issue with elders, firmly, but without misbehaving.
The Scene That’s Trending
Mustafa tests our patience as he walks into the house from his motorcycle in slow-mo. The director also made sure he plays on our feelings of frustration and patience and further heightens these emotions by showing the father offering his namaz while things became heated between everyone. We couldn’t wait for Mustafa to enter the house and stand by Sharjeena. The scuffle between the two brothers was stressful but inevitably, we all knew it would come down to this. It was very well-executed and not even for a second did it seem staged.
What Could Have Been Better?
Just two things, one, Sharjeena’s sister’s response to all that Rubab said, seemed unjustified and didn’t make sense. She is the sister, she must be knowing who Rubab is, and should have realised how Rubab insulted Sharjeena too, so she shouldn’t have been so harsh with Sharjeena. While we loved that Sharjeena stood up for herself, but her one sentence to Rubab “If I take away money from you, tau kya reh jaaye ga”. That dialogue just didn’t seem to go with Sharjeena’s stature.
