Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is redefining love for all of us. It is teaching us what real relationships look like, and how falling in love is a gradual and multilayered process. The journey is not just from “Dilkashi” to “Mohabbat”. The real journey starts after that.
Sharjeena Shows Us What Is Love!
Sharjeena’s support for Mustafa is unwavering, ultimate and just absolutely heart winning. How she refuses to leave Mustafa alone and understands he is so low and isolated, he needs her with him, and he needs to know that she trusts him. When he loses his temper with the men at the dhaaba, she never blames him or makes him feel guilty for losing his temper. She understands he is under immense pressure. Her calm and unwavering demeanor is calming not just for Mustafa but also gives us a lovely story.
When The Going Gets Tough, The Love Gets Going!
What a beautiful relationship they have, Mustafa was not at all sure about the apartment, but as he saw Sharjeena navigating the place and smiling slightly, his body language also changed, he also started relaxing and his body language changed as well… just because he had Sharjeena with him. What makes the watch a great experience is that despite so much stress and tension, Mustafa and Sharjeena keep it light between each other. Mustafa makes fun of her romantic dialogues and Sharjeena melts him with her endearing smile.
Shout Out To Creators
A huge shout out to the production house “Big Bang” and director Badar Mehmood for paying attention to details. From using a real-life rodent to the run-down situation of the hotel room they stayed at; each scene depicted true-to-life and impactful moments. This helps audiences feel for the character in every situation.
Parenting Misses
The mother never tried to stop Mustafa, even though she made a huge deal when Adeel was leaving the house. So sad to see her discriminating between her sons, based on how well-settled they are. Parents’ behavior impacts the lives of their children no matter what life stage they are in.
Adeel Letting Down His Family
Did Adeel just realise what Rubab had done? Now after things have calmed down, it is hitting him how events transpired, but sadly, he doesn’t have the conscience to do the right thing – to defend his brother and save his parents from this trauma. His own ego and materialistic goals are much more important to him. It was interesting to see how Rubab instantly put him in his place, making him realize that he is also an accomplice in the entire fiasco. She further incriminated him by using the emotional point that maybe, he was also taking some past revenge.
That’s What Friends Are For!
How can we forget the friend? Mustafa’s friend Ali was there for him in the real sense. He was the savior we were all hoping to see to help out these two. Sharjeena wearing Mustafa’s t-shirt was the ultimate scene which made everyone go crazy for them and root for their love. All we can say is, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is beating itself at its own game in relate-ability. On a lighter note, will the poor brother in-law get to do anything more substantial than taking care of the child and making an appearance at mealtimes?
