Baran is back and knows about Barbeena’s marriage to Haji Mushtaq. He is not willing to give up on Barbeena. He says he stayed alive only to be with her, so how can she be with anyone else. The story is reaching a crucial and heart-breaking point. It is amazing how we feel bad for Barbeena, Haji Mushtaq and Baraan. Life has brought them to a place where no one’s happiness can be guaranteed.
Every time Haji Sahib and Barbeena interact, it is such a lovely scene. From handing her money at the door, bringing mithai and then asking her if she missed Baraan, Haji Sahib is all care and respect for Barbeena.
Love Changes A Person
How love changes one person… Barbeena is someone who heals people, who brings calmness and happiness around her, whether it is a plant or a human. It is the honesty of her emotions that has allowed Haji Mushtaq to step out of his shell. He is letting himself be happy and live his life.
The dining table scene beautifully tackled many issues, especially age difference on the forefront. When the couple asks them if it feels odd to have this age difference, a question that many of us might have wanted to ask, Haji Mushtaq and Barbeena do not lecture the couple about their fights and verbal misbehaviours, instead they show them by example how to treat others with love and care – Haji Mushtaq being so attentive towards Barbeena and putting food in her plate.
Maybe now Barbeena has really fallen in love with Haji Mushtaq as she saw him singing, a side she never expected. It was a heart-winning scene to watch, along with Barbeena just watching him.
Ghaffar Keeps Shocking Us
Well as Haji Mushtaq keeps surprising us with heart-winning moments, Ghaffar keeps shocking us with disgusting and ruthless actions. That entire conversation about infertile animals and comparing them to a woman unable to have children was really heartbreaking. He is so sharp, he knows exactly where to hit Chammo. Chammo and her family are all responsible for making Ghaffar the bully he is now – by constantly giving in to his demands and not telling her to take stand.
Shameem was another surprise. The reason she sold her gold was to help out Haji Mushtaq’s family. Oh Shameem jee you are completely winning us. No matter what happens, her loyalty and consideration for the family isn’t going anywhere.
