Syra Yousuf On The Possibility Of Coming Back On Screen
“I want to do a drama, I am reading a couple of scripts but you know I will be very honest I have come to the conclusion that dramas and films take a lot of time, buhat grueling working hours hotay hein or buhat time chaiye hota hai. I am not going to pick up crappy scripts just because I want to be on screen, I am a mother I would much rather spend that time with my child”
She shared that she wants to come back on screen but she’ll do that only when she gets quality scripts.
Her Thoughts On Remarrying
“I am generally very fond of the institute itself. I think marriage is beautiful and why spend your life alone? I don’t see the point in it. I think everyone should have a companion because life becomes easier”
When asked about remarrying, Syra expressed that yes she does think about getting married again because life becomes easier with a companion.
Opinions On Masses Bashing Celebrities
“I think it’s a little unfair. I will speak for myself, we are actors and our job is to entertain and to act. Yes if Allah has blessed with the kind of influence and the reach we have then we should utilize it but it should not be a necessity to utilize it. Yeh bhi sochna chaiye har kisi ki apni life hoti hai and sometimes you can do half the things and sometimes you cannot for whatever reason. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions.”
She believes that bashing celebrities for not doing something about a certain cause is unfair because everyone is entitled to their own separate ways.
Guilt Of A Parent
“As a parent there are a lot of times where I feel like oh I could have done more here, I could have done this, I should have done that. Wo mujhay hota hai all the time”
She talked about how she feels guilty as a parent and often thinks she could have done more.
