We tried 3 buzzing, local lip tint brands…Read on as we pass our verdict and let you know where you can buy them from.

Summer and Lip Tints are literally the endgame combination. They provide ample color, are lightweight and smudge proof – all what we need for our scorching summer, thanks to being so close to the equator and global warming. Most of us don’t feel like putting too much makeup on our face or anything else that feels heavy and will smear at the first bout of sweat.
We review 3 local lip tints because lipsticks on hot summer days, no thank you! We prefer to have something on our lips thats as light as a feather. All 3 items are available on local websites that won’t have you waiting for shipping or waiting for a foreign relative to visit, or … converting the dollar rates just to get a heart attack.
Mana Beauty
We tried the Mana beauty lip tint in the shade: Rose Magic! Was it true magic? Well, don’t know about magic but it is a natural ingredient based tint with a very distinct rose scent. The packaging is glass with a dropper and is sturdy yet basic.
The formula is quite runny and takes a bit to blend but definitely pigmented. One drop is more than enough for one area and it wont look splotchy. Though once it dries, it wont budge so be careful when blending. It is weightless and doesn’t have an oily or creamy feel, best for oily skinned girls. The colour is great for most skin tones, its coral pink!
Also very affordable! Did we forget to mention it’s on sale?

She loves On AIIN Beauty
You can purchase the liquid blush and makeshift lip stain through Aiin Beauty. The product costs Rs. 1050 for an 8 ML size. Its the kind of packaging you can just throw in your bag and not worry about it breaking or spilling. The tint has a doe foot applicator that makes the application super easy.
The scent though, is slightly chemically but the formula is creamy and not oily. It blends like a dream and adds a slight glow to your skin!
The blendability is forgiving and you can continue to blend it in after a while too. What we must tell you beforehand is, don’t be afraid of the colours on the packaging, they are way brighter than the actual shade. The actual shades are lovely and flattering once applied. Its a natural flush of color. Though we would be more at ease if we knew the ingredients in too.
We tried 3 shades:
03 – A stunning peach
06 – A deep, brownish red 10 – A beautiful sunset orange: a more prominent reflecting glitter peaking through!

Tuffy Organics
An eco friendly business focusing on natural plant based products. Their lip tints are light on the skin and give a subtle, natural, radiant rosy look as per the description on their site.
A 15 ml bottle costs Rs. 800 on sale! The size is enough to last you for ages with a glass dropper bottle. We really appreciated how the packaging was precisely labelled, they had the ingredients listed which are all natural – Rose water, vitamin e, jojoba oil, glycerin, mineral colouring and aloe Vera gel. But we are warning you beforehand to not use more than 1 drop (the directions say otherwise) because we barely used 1 and ended up resembling the Joker! Its clearly very pigmented. Also be mindful of the expiry date: Use within 6 months.
As far as the scent goes, you can smell berries and jojoba oil. It does have oil in it so oily skin girls might have to powder their skin. The colour does set in place quick but you can afford to blend it in just a tad bit. The end result is just the right amount of dewy.
We tried 3 shades:
Bahamas Pink – Our hearts were set on this one, a sheer candy pink!
Scarlet Red – Your basic bright red but sheer enough to not look extra.
Coral Peach – A dark orangey coral.
