Lipton has revamped its iconic jingle for their new TVC and we’re getting some serious #ChaiChahiye moments!
Written, composed and produced by Bilal Maqsood and sung by Alycia Dias, the new Lipton jingle is an upbeat and “modern” rendition of the nostalgic song we all love. Moreover, the new TVC has some notable Pakistani celebrities (Javed Sheikh, Junaid Khan – to name a few) bonding over a hot cup of chai!
Nothing brings people and communities together like a chai break and Lipton captures that sentiment perfectly with their new TVC! To step it up a notch, when Pakistani celebrities started posting their photos with a steaming cup of Lipton chai, the Lipton Instagram account commented under their posts and also sent them gift hampers! Everyone was super stoked about that, who wouldn’t be?!

In his latest Instagram post, Bilal Maqsood summarized his process of revamping the new jingle for a newer and younger Pakistani audience, making it relevant to suit their tastes and adding a pop flair to it. He expressed how the original TVC and jingle hold a lot of sentimental value for him and remind him of his childhood and the good old PTV days, and how he’s tried to stay true to it. Lastly, he thanked the audience for receiving it with open hearts and being so supportive of him.
We believe Bilal Maqsood has done a wonderful job with the revamp and we can’t wait to see what’s next in-line for our beloved chai!
