19th LSA 2020’s winner list was announced last Thursday. The event was devoid of a proper ceremony due to Covid-19 apprehensions and safety measures.
The winners list was met with praise & jubilation as several media publications posted the results almost immediately. The list includes Yumna Zaidi, Imran Ashraf and many more!
BUT…let’s have a look at why everyone wasn’t too ‘gung ho’ about the final LSA results.

Well…so far, everything was great until we saw #SajalAly trending on Twitter the day after the online ceremony took place.
The outcome of awards is unacceptable according to Sajal fans. They were outraged as she did not win a single LSA award despite being honored with international appreciation in the not so recent past.
Sajal Ali was nominated in the Best TV Actress (Viewer’s Choice & Critics Choice) categories for the drama Aangan.
The following twitter backlash was but, to be expected as jazbaati fans expressed their outrage over the final call!
