Malala Yousafzai stepped out with her husband Asser Malik for an event and we can’t stop gushing over how cute they looked! The newlyweds have been the talk of the town ever since they tied the knot earlier this month. The couple was spotted at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre to attend a gala performance of the musical ‘Cinderella.’ The event which took place on Monday was organised to raise funds for the Malala Fund, which aims to facilitate education for young girls globally.
Pretty In Pink
Malala donned a pretty pink dress with classy black heels, looking gorgeous as ever! Her husband Asser Malik looked equally dapper in a black suit. The couple posed for photos together and we couldn’t help but go…awww!
The new ‘Cinderalla’ musical is written by Emerald Fennel and the music is done by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. The newlyweds were invited alongside Lord Lloyd Webber and his wife, Lady Madeleine Lloyd Webber, the creator Emerald Fenner, the lead actress Carrie Hope Fletcher. Malala Yousafzai and Asser Malik were photographed with them and the results were so wholesome!
Speaking about Malala, the writer Emerald Fennel stated, “I think Malala is the most incredible inspiration to everyone in the world, and most particularly women and girls. She has fought for human rights and equal rights, and so just to be able to help her fund in any small way that we can means a huge amount to all of us.”
A Pleasant Surprise!
The Nobel Prize winner surprised all of us when she announced her Nikkah on 9th November. Her fans were ecstatic yet, also wondered who this mystery man was and how long has he been in Malala’s life? The newlyweds kept their relationship private but it is speculated that they have known each other for 4 years!
