Marvel has released the very first trailer of the highly anticipated and ground breaking series, ‘Ms. Marvel,’ and safe to say it’s become the newest talk of town. MCU had a lot planned up it’s sleeve for its new phase, leaving fans super excited. Last year it gave us series Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and much more. This year it has released the trailer for Ms. Marvel, is first Muslim superhero. How exciting.

Ms. Marvel Might Be Your New Favorite!
Ms. Marvel aka, Kamala (played by Iman Vellani) is a normal teen, adjusting to the new high school life in New Jersey. Oh and not to mention how she has to correct the pronunciation of her name for everyone. Relatability boxes check!
Kamala like every other teen indulges in daydreaming, but hers are a little different. She daydreams of uniting her favorite superheroes and Avengers and well, just saving the day and the universe. But it isn’t that easy is it? Amidst it all, she finds her super powers. The trailer doesn’t give much away about how she attains these powers, leaving the viewers wait in curious anticipation.
Oh and do we see a typical desi mother telling her daughter, ‘that is not you,’ so, the show might be relatable for most of its audience right?
What’s More?
Rumors had it, our national heartthrob Fawad Khan and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz recipient, Mehwish Hayat are to appear in the Disney Plus series too. Neither of the two have confirmed or commented on the rumors but if Marvel really has bagged them to play Kamala’s great grandparents, then we’re rooting for them for sure! However, the trailer shows no sign of Fawad, disappointing many Pakistani fans, who are questioning, ‘where is he?’ Has he backed out or are we yet to see him in the future trailers?
On the other hand, Pakistanis caught a glimpse of Nimra Bucha in the trailer and couldn’t contain their excitement. And why not? Y’all Pakistani Marvel fans are rooting for her!
Oh and Academy Award winner, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is a director for Ms. Marvel, alongside Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi, and Bilall Fallah.

The Soundtrack
Being The Weeknd fan, hearing the Blinding Lights instrumental from the very first second, was a reason which grasped my attention instantly. Plus, the song fit in well with the setting. We’re impressed!
