Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha – Neelo’s Outbursts Might Have Hurt Her Own Family More Than Maheer? Do You Agree?
Should Maheer have left the house herself without Saad asking her, given the state Neelo is in? Was there really a need to make Neelo, a woman, so toxic against another woman?
Neelo’s Meltdown
Neelo is a force, she is unstoppable. She refuses to give in to anyone, be it her mother or Saad. While we have major reservations about her attitude and behaviour towards Maheer, we do appreciate her making those ladies leave politely.
But we do wish Neelo was not this negative. Her sense of reason should have prevailed. The drama should have shown how it is a sensitive matter to publicly lay blame upon a girl. Most importantly, Neelo’s aggression hasn’t been fully justified. While Maheer did visit Areeb at the hospital, the rest of the allegations have not been proven yet.
More importantly, (unpopular opinion) Neelo has come out as that one selfish family member who doesn’t realize she’s not the only one who’s lost someone. Instead of being a support for her brother, and mother, and her chacha, she’s being selfish, self absorbed & manic in her misery – do you feel Neelo is a one dimensional character? Her strength could have been used in so many positive ways, in being Maheer’s confidante, in guiding her, in being a pillar of strength for her mother, but unfortunately, her wrath and energies have been directed at Maheer, who, perpetually sad as she is, seems no match for Neelo’s fire brigade. Do you agree?
Neelo’s Mother wins The Day!
Appreciation for showing the mother trying to put some sense into Neelo, no matter how futile it was.
Neelo’s mom explaining to her why she wants no more histrionics at home was the voice of sanity & dignity. Respecting the departed & keeping it sane would have been so much more touching. But Neelo the loose cannon let’s it all out!
Array bai can we please send Anabia again for honeymoon part 2? As if Maheer is not in enough trouble already … as if Maheer hasn’t already taken some silly decisions in life that she’s paying for presently, Anabia is encouraging Areeb and is all for Maheer rebelling against her family.
Maheer jee, ek hug to buntee thee Saad kay liyay, when he asks you to sit with him.
Faha is insensitive and brutal, the manner in which she continues with her meal, (when Areeb blames them for the death of Saad’s father) was so cold hearted.
Saad’s Devastation
Saad driving the car to drop Maheer’s friend and almost getting into an accident, Saad crying alone in the car was heart breaking. Because ‘only sons’ can’t show how devastated they are, especially with Neelo is behaving the way she is. Saad could only let it out when alone. Fab job Wahaj Ali! However, if the makers were showing us Saad’s pain, then perhaps Maheer should have accompanied them so she could also witness Saad’s condition. That would have made for a bonding between the two, a moment they really needed together.
This episode of Mujhe Pyaar Hua was definitely a drag, making it a struggle to watch. Tell us what you think in comments.
