Naseem Shah is trending on Twitter, this time not for his stunning bowling, but for apparently mocking Azam Khan during the league match in Bangladesh. Get the full story here.

On camera, Khan shoved Shah away following an argument during a Bangladesh Premier League game between the Khulna Tigers and the Comilla Victorians. The footage has been making the rounds on social media. Shah then followed Khan, imitating his walk by raising his arms.
Netizens Labelled This Act Of Shah As Body Shaming
“Teasing ? No it’s being a jerk.”
“Anything but teasing – in poor, poor taste.”

“Classless jerk mocking him for his size behind his back..”
“Naseem shah is doing arrogant bully behavior now look at how he is making fun of Azam khan. He should be fine and banned”
“Disgraceful behaviour this from #NaseemShah. Openly body shaming.”
“That’s body shaming rather than teasing”
“Idc if he’s 19. At 19 even I knew what was right and wrong. You don’t body shame. Esp when you’re a national team member. Esp behind their backs. Shame on Naseem Shah. “
Azam Khan while speaking to The Cricket Monthly in a recent interview shared how he faced criticism because of his weight.
But after I got my chance in the PSL, people criticised me because I was overweight and said my body is not suited for the elite game [level] of cricket.”
Azam Khan
Azam Khan has however time and time again proved himself in the game proving all his critics wrong. Do you think what we saw on the screen and in the field was all in good humour or do you feel Naseem Shah should be called out for body shaming?
On another note, do you think if a cricketer has passed the fitness test his weight should be left alone or do we need to leave that question to the coaches?
Here is to hoping for a kinder and more tolerant world!
