Prepare your coffee mugs and brace yourselves, as we dive into an in-depth 11-point review of the newest episode of Mein!
1. Profession With More Responsibility
Do our dramas not need to portray a profession with more responsibility? Maybe a few bloggers refusing to do Mubashira’s dirty work would have been more realistic? While we understand the necessity of the plot and Mubashira’s dark plan, it would be great to keep the representation balanced.
2. Non-Toxic Nand-Bhabi Relationship
We appreciate the drama creators for going against the stereotype of showing a toxic nand-bhabi relationship through Ayra and her bhabi. However, we would love it if the dialogues were a bit more engaging, so we don’t end up turning up the speed to keep it breezy!
3. We Almost Thought She Will Throw Something At Her Father…
When Mubashira’s turns around to get her bag, her expressions seemed as if she had much more on her mind. Was she about to strike her father? Thank God that didn’t end as dark as our thoughts! But tell us what you thought!
4. Parents Spoiling Their Children
Mein is highlighting a common issue in our society, of how parents play an important role in spoiling their children. Beta iss tarha nahi karte. That’s all-Mubashira’s father could tell her after she ordered his lawyer to leave the house. His misery was real, and we felt it!
5. Rayyan Gets Major Mood Swings
What happened to Rayyan all of a sudden? Why was he curt with Kashmala? He seemed to be fine till the last episode. And subsequently, after flaunting his so-called Casanova lifestyle, and refusing to drop her home, he asks her call once she’s reached home. We’re wondering if he needs to be aware of his mood swings too.
6. Zaid A Scene Solely To Flaunt His Suit
We can’t decide, was this scene shown to flaunt Zaid’s new suit or Zaid himself? The moment when Zaid gets a call and says, he’s on his way. You know the scene, right? We were waiting to see if that was Ayra, calling him to pick her up and he take her on yet another coffee/dinner date, but the scene itself was a standalone surprise. Help us out please.
7. Muhib Challenges Mubashira To Get Married Again
Ohhh… Muhib really hit Mubashira hard by challenging her to marry again and live happily ever after? He knows which buttons to press. This was a good comeback by Muhib and Mubashira reacted just as he had wanted her to. Oh Mubashira, listen to your friend’s advice. Don’t play in Muhib’s hands!
8. Unmarried Zaid & Ayra Is Still A Mystery
Zaid will marry Mubashira but we will never know the reason Ayra and Zaid are not getting married. If you know, please tell us.
9. Dates With Zero Chemistry
We so didn’t miss the mandatory lunch dates between Ayra and Zaid accompanied by zero chemistry. Ummm, is it just us or the spark is missing in this one?
10. Ayra’s Life In Office
The irritating colleague, the shabby, torn chair, and Ayra’s serious attitude give us the perfect reason to forward these scenes. And guess what, we will still get the story. So, perhaps Ayra’s office scenes can be more spruced up? Just a humble suggestion from those who watch Mein.
11. Father-Daughter Bond
This father-daughter bond was very cute and encouraging as a guide for fathers to have an open relationship with their children. This was the highlight of the show. As Kashmala and her dad have a heart to heart and we melted right there. Mein sent out great father-daughter communication goals here and we have to say, the dialogues were just right!

On point 8, I want to add that Ayra is portrayed as an ambitious girl who wants to earn and stand on her own two feet, career woman she is. She does not want to get married and she feels guilty in marrying rich, too. That is why she is shown to not take favor from zaid by not taking up the job in his company. Probably, that is the reason that she is hesitant in marrying him as much as he wants to. That’s really sad, though as our society label such girls as gold diggers when they decide to marry a rich guy even though the rich guy wants to marry him, too.
