With high-energy performances, expert judging, and emotional backstories, the show has quickly become a favorite among viewers.

The Karachi auditions were no exception. From soulful ballads to energetic performances, several contestants impressed the judges and left audiences talking. Here’s a closer look at five contestants who stood out and are already making waves in the music scene:

1. Rose Mary

Anyone who has been a fan of music, and watched Pakistan Idol Season 1, would know Rose Mary. She was one of the top 5 finalists from Season 1 and is now back, determined to take the trophy and title home. Over the years, Rose Mary has sung for some popular OSTs, including Neeli Zinda Hai, Angna, Farq, and more.

In the Karachi auditions, Rose Mary performed Kate Na Kate Re Ratiyan by Runa Laila, instantly impressing the judges. She received a standing ovation from Zeb Bangash, Bilal Maqsood, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan – a clear “yes” from all of them. The audiences were equally mesmerized, thoroughly enjoying her performance and leaving everyone excited for what she might deliver next.

2. Muhammad Minaam

Muhammad Minaam, the youngest graduate from NAPA at just 19, stepped onto the Pakistan Idol stage eager to impress the judges. Coming from a strong musical background, he showed a deep passion for singing, though he appeared slightly nervous and unsure at first, trying to find his footing in front of the cameras and live jduges.

Once he started singing Ranjish Hi Sahi by Mehdi Hasan, Minaam’s talent became undeniable. His performance earned extraordinary remarks and a standing ovation from Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, and Bilal Maqsood. By the end, both the judges and the audience were spellbound, proving that Minaam’s passion and dedication could not be ignored.

3. Tarab Nafees

Tarab Nafees, just 18 years old, took the Pakistan Idol stage with confidence and a clear love for classical music. Though young, she carried herself with grace and poise, ready to make an impression on both the judges and the audience.
