Arts Council Pakistan in Karachi has organized a vibrant, exciting, and opportunity-filled Youth Festival from the 23rd to the 29th of January in order to include the most significant group of the population—the youth—in the festivities of the country’s 76th year of independence.

On January 23, 2023, at Arts Council Pakistan in Karachi, the Pakistan Youth Festival’23 got off to a lively and exuberant start. Together with President ACP, Ahmed Shah and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Karachi Khalid Iraqi, renowned author Anwar Maqsood formally inaugurated the festival.
Art Council Steps Forward To Work For Welfare Of Youth
In these times when kids are only exposed to pessimism and despair, the Arts Council Pakistan, Karachi is the only organization that has stepped forward to work for the welfare of our youth.
“We cannot always construct the future for our young, but we can build the youth for our future, recognizing the true value of these wise words, ACP has organized this one-of-a-kind festival to highlight the abilities and skills of the young people in our country.”

Thanks to the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi, competitions in a variety of genres, such as singing, acting, dancing, battle of the bands, photography, instrumentalists, painting, quizzes, essay writing, and declamation in both Urdu and English, all under one roof started from January 23 through January 29, 2023. The competition is much more intense since PKR 200,000 will be awarded as the winning prize for each category. Ahmed Shah, President ACP, stated those who are unable to secure their position among top 20 would be awarded a three-year diploma for free at the Arts Council Academies.
Exciting Lineup For The Concert
In addition, some of the biggest singers, including Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, Sahir Ali Bagga, Natasha Baig, Arman Rahim, Shuja Haider, Wahab Bugti, and the bands Auj and Kashmir, will perform during the celebrations. After around 5 years (thanks to Covid) the festival is taking place once more in all its splendor, and this time it’s even bigger, better, and full of chances for the youth. Many male and female students eagerly participated in the auditions that were held on the first day for the various categories.

A never-before-seen concluding ceremony will take place on January 29. The closing ceremony will feature upbeat performances from the Ali Azmat, Sahir Ali Bagga, Natasha Baig, Wahab Bugti, Ahsan Bari, Ahmed Jahanzeb, Armaan Rahim FT. Afaq Adnan.
Goal Of Pakistan Youth Festival
The festival’s main goal is to bring out Karachi’s hidden talent and provide them a platform. Only the Arts Council of Pakistan has dedicated itself in ensuring the welfare and advancement of youth in the country. They are the largest and best non-profit organization that has had success in promoting talents and imparting knowledge, abilities, and skills in the realm of visual and performing arts. Each year, the Arts Council Pakistan, Karachi, hosts about 500 of such events.

The Pakistan Youth Festival’s major attraction is that it is completely free to attend, providing everyone an equal opportunity to take part, compete, and enjoy fantastic music.
