Love cannot be forced, & neither can respect. Yet, Parizaad chose to do both for Naheed, yet again showing us the elevation of the human spirit if it chooses to rise above.
Parizaad might still keep the respect for Naheed but we seemed to have lost it completely. Instead of redeeming herself for her past behavior, she has sunk deeper into a chasm of her own making. Writer Hashim Nadeem has shown us the heights that a human being can rise to if he chooses, and the depths that he can fall to, … if he chooses. Parizaad chose to rise above, and Naheed…to fall.

Pehli mohabbat can be a killer & we were relieved to see Parizaad had the strength & perception to see through Naheed’s intentions.
Mein wohi Parizaad hota toh kya aap meray zakhmon par marham rakhteen? The episode belonged to Parizaad’s response to Naheed where he mentioned that all he ever needed was to be loved for himself.
Ahmed Ali Akbar once again floored us with a performance that never falters – just like his taking note of the black car following him (despite being lost in RJ Annie’s World) … did you get Behroze shades there as well?
RJ Annie’s phone chats serve to amuse Parizaad & us … she seems to be the silver lining in his darkest clouds. Yumna lights up the screen with her triple word reactions. Did you also hope Parizaad would try to help bring back her eyesight one day? Finally, he has found a reason to live…and we feel it’s the right one!
