Selena announced her venture in the beauty world in February 2020. Rare Beauty, initially set for a summer 2020 launch, was delayed due to the pandemic. Hence it launched September 3rd, 2020. Here it is! (And we’re loving the incoming reviews)

The popstar felt that the beauty world lacked diversity and mental health awareness. Rare beauty is inclusive and welcoming to people of all ethnicities and backgrounds! (Just one of the many reasons we love it!)
Products
The newly launched makeup line includes foundations, concealers, lipsticks, eye shadows and eyeliners. The foundations and concealers come in 48 shades (yes, you heard that right).

Wondering why some of the products have spheres at the top? Well, they’re designed to help people with arthritis. A great deal of thought went into the designing of the packages!
Ethical Promises
PETA has approved that Rare Beauty’s products are ethical, cruelty-free and vegan, making it very much suitable for those who stand up for animal rights and cruelty-free products!
Selena has said that out of the profit the brand makes in the next ten years, $100 million will be distributed to charity and donated to mental health awareness organizations.
