Saboor claims that directors have already chosen their favorite actors, which is why most actors don’t get a chance. However, she states, ‘I will also say that whichever director we have worked with, was very good as well.’ And likewise, ‘working with them has given us enough success that we didn’t really need anybody else.’ Still, she says, if she had worked with other directors too, she would’ve been even more successful, but nevertheless, she is happy with where she stands now as well.
Saboor Aly Shed Light On The Gora Complex In Our Drama Industry!

Saboor says that there are many channels and production houses that have the ‘Gora Complex.’ It means that people prefer fair-colored skin actors over others. Furthermore, she explains that if an actor is fair, they get a lead role in the blink of an eye and others have to struggle a lot as actors. She further clarifies that this ‘Gora Complex’ still exists strongly, which is why whitening injection businesses are so popular these days.
Actors who experience and go through such a process feel disheartened because they know that what it takes. However, directors don’t work on you. Big directors are busy casting stars but not producing stars.
