Sana Javed has filed a defamation suit following allegations of misbehavior and unprofessionalism towards her by various Pakistani models and make-up artists. She posted the legal notice on her Instagram handle with a detailed caption, calling all of it a “smear campaign” against her by a “group of individuals.”
“I’m shocked to see how toxic people can be and how quickly everyone jumps on a bandwagon without knowing all the facts,” she added.

Background
It started with model Manal Saleem when she accused Sana Javed of misbehaving with her and calling her “2 takay ki model.” From this point onwards, the controversy spread like wildfire as Manal’s friends spoke out defending her and others who have allegedly had the same experience started posting about it on their Instagram handles as well.
Following Manal’s statement, makeup artists Ikram Gohar, Irhyan Thomas, Omayr Waqar, Wajid Khan, model Fareeha Sheikh, came out to defend Manal & also share their personal experiences.
Reactions
The aforementioned fiasco has caused a frenzy on social media, some are coming out to defend Sana while others are siding with Manal and others.
People Posting Against Sana
“Sana Javed disrespected her co-workers in private and now the whole world is disrespecting her and this is how Muqafat-e-amal works. Every negative thing you do today you will get back with interest tomorrow. As you sow, so shall you reap.”
“Sana Javed using the court to stop people from calling out her bullying tactics is peak abuser behaviour. If you’ve demeaned fellow artists, learn from your public humiliation, own up, take responsibility, apologise and do better. At least you’ll save some dignity in the process.”
Others Have Come Out Defending Her
Stylist Hassan Abdullah posted an Instagram story showing his support for Sana.

Actress Sadia Faisal shared her positive personal experience working with Sana Javed.
Journalist Amna Haider stated Sana was “no trouble at all” when she did an editorial fashion shoot with the latter.

Twitter was trending all of last night and day with people tweeting about the incident. We hope the issue can be resolved in an amicable manner.
