The Love Between Marjan Khan And Zarsangha Wins Our Hearts!
The drama proves a love story is not age-bound and an older couple like Marjan Khan and Zarsangha can make us feel emotional, manifest their love in the most romantic & poetic way, and gift us an eternal love story. We are still under the spell of “Maaf ker do Janaan”.
Shout out to the DOP Azhar Ali, for beautifully capturing Hilmand as he runs away from the jirga, and perhaps, in reality, from his own thoughts & his own regrets as he’s faced with the shocking truth. The scene where Hilmand weeps in a fetal position was just awesome.
The dialogues between Zarsangha and Zarghuna were heart winning. They not only showed the bond between the sisters but also highlighted a very important point about a woman’s psychology. If she chooses, she will not put up with the atrocities perpetrated upon her by a show of power from anyone, be it men… but if you love her with all your heart, she will do anything for you, even take a life.

How beautiful was the interaction between Zarsangha and Marjan Khan – their love story has our heart. Marjan won hearts further when he sought to protect Hilmand from Zarsangha’s secret – another reason he was going to take the blame upon himself. He tried hard for Hilmand to not discover the truth about his father and have his image come crashing down before him as well as experience the mental trauma and embarrassment, which he is now going through.

Shoutout to Atif Aslam for impactfully portraying the mental and emotional turmoil that Hilmand is experiencing. His frustration, his confusion and his regrets for all that he lost, for all that he could have saved and how to ever face his loved ones whom he has been so cruel to.
Although fans appreciated the poetic interaction between Marjaan Khan and Zarsangha, many were left asking that should Zarsangha pay for the murder of Nasrullah Khan. A life taken under any condition is still a life taken. Can she be let off without any punishment?

Do you think that Zarsangha should’ve spoken to Hilmand earlier and cleared his misperceptions and revealed the sad story behind the death of his father in private? Although she would’ve borne his resentment, would it have been better than revealing the secret before the entire jirga?
